That's what they want us to believe..........
@SoCoolCurt
Dashwire did update my contacts when I went from the Palm 800w to Treo Pro.
"Smartphone" is so loosely defined. My definition is any phone that has cut and paste. That takes care of Symbian, Blackberry, Palm, WinMo, and Android(i think G1 has cut and paste). All other phones that mimics smartphones capabilities are mid to high end multimedia dumbphones.
Goodbye Chad, my circle, nights/wkds at 7.....Hello red OS screen, locked down phones,.......
Yes. The towers. Sell a couple out of your thousands or hundreds (doesn't matter here)and mobile news site tries to crucify you. Is the writer of this story incompetent(with the facts) or just biased against Sprint.
I'll say a Palm too. The "qwerty" keys are what gives me that impression. Looks like my 700P. Looks like my 800W. Nova?
Why does no one ever mentions insurance for the iPhone. That was the final straw for me. If it was lost/stolen(dropped/cracked) I wasn't about to get another at full cost.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
