@Bronzus They are that stupid.....why do you think they are closing locations and hemorrhaging money at $3 billion per quarter? Not subsidizing phones with carriers or coming up with a phone that is actually useful?
WTF? Do they not realize that they are hurting financially and that no one wants a P.O.S. phone like this? How are their executives not out of jobs yet?
Lying is a strong word. I prefer deceiving. Like deceiving people into thinking that the access to over 100,000 apps that Luke "I recently ate something I am allergic to and swelled up like Violet Beauregarde eating three course chewing gum" Wilson says they do (but omits you need an iPhone to get access to them).

All Cell carriers and manufacturers are cretins. If they weren't they would listen to their audience and create a phone that actually does all of the things they want them to. They have the capabilities but as long as people keep buying the next best thing they will keep leaving their devices and networks short.
I think that only works if you actually get coverage and any iPhone user knows it's NEVER that fast.

iPhone/AT&T REALLY ned to come out with something new because they are preaching the same BS they have since iPhone day one. I guess this is as close to multitasking as the iPhone gets so they may as well build on it.
Another great Verizon commercial. I guess they aren't too worried about AT&T's legal team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEWTqMf8Np4
As far off as a full LTE conversion is, Verizon and phone manufacturers would be idiots to stop or delay putting out CDMA phones. It's about now...not 2013. Besides, in the next 3 years how many people are going to be changing phones or upgrading them? Who thinks to themselves "I am going to wait until 2013 to get a new phone because that's when LTE will be fully available"?
Wait wait wait........hold on. So what you are telling me is that when you expose a device to a larger audience that there is a chance more people will buy it? This just blew my mind.
I wouldn't put it past Jobs and Apple to be behind this. As much as they himmed and hawed when they were first getting jailbroken I would bet $1 that they are pushing these worms out to get people to either go "legit" or stop jail breaking all together.
They finally subsidize a good phone with a wireless carrier. Too bad it's a day late and a few billion dollars short.
Sad thing is that there are Executives and R&D people at SE wondering why their numbers are in the toilet and they are closing locations. Non subsidized smart phones and BS like this. Who hires these people?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
