Again, where is the IR port?? That design is gonna look real nice with usb IR dongle you have attach to it...
Where's the IR port? I'm just saying... if your going to go that far why forget that.
Can it decode DTS? Seems a lot of these devices lack that functionality due to licensing cost...
How about remote DVR scheduling.. I don't know why its taking so long for this to happen.
If you can live without the network connectivity just get the Western Digital TV.. Same thing.. In fact there are even modified firmwares where you can hook up network connectivity to it as well, and it's only 99 bucks..
Just get yourself a Mac Mini and install Plex or XMBC and a mid sized NAS with about 4TB and you are good to go for 1/2 of the price, with a much nicer interface and expandability.

Plus it won't take 5 minutes to switch discs...
I have to say ditto on using the refurb mac mini, with a home-built or bought NAS, running Xbox media center... They are ripping folks off...
I could use the wireless feature..bad!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
