This looks nice. And actually by shrinking the form factor, Nokia have made this more attractive to me.

But all the reservations I had about the original N97 remain a problem for the N97 mini. I logged them here:

And as someone else said above, why would you be interested in this when the N900 is 'round the corner? It's going to be a tough sell.
I love the new colours but the original steel is still the best looking in my opinion.
I don't have a great deal to add other than to see that I thought that was a great review. I've always thought Temple was the weakest of the trilogy but - at the same time - always really enjoyed it. I've often wondered why that was the case and your review really nails it.
Great review. I haven't seen the movie yet but I've read countless reviews. Yours seems to be the most balanced and 'realistic'.

Thanks - you've allowed me to look forward to seeing Indy's latest adventure without going in there with ludicrously high hopes.
Is it just me or does this rather dull, not as special as the first generation model? Let's hope they're still tweaking the hardware design elements.
After the disgrace that was the P990i, the huge dissapointment that was the P1i (both compounded by Sony Ericsson's lamentable attitude to customer care and firmware updates) this has better be good!
I've been dubious about Indy's latest outing. Until now. The poster looks great and - in a way that the news coverage and PR efforts have failed to do - has reminded me of what I love about the series and the excitement of seeing Indy in a new adventure. Bring it on! Can't wait...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
