Are there any details on the Lenovo prices?
Competition is good. Obviously ATT and Apple feel threatened by Verizon and the Android platform. I say let them duke it out. First they attack on features, and next they'll attack pricing. Which will lead to price drops or maybe cheaper tiered pricing structures for people that don't use a lot of data.

Well, one can hope at least. ;-)
Nooo. I hope the X10 is sold unlocked and unbranded. That way people can just use the cheapest dumbphone data plan.

If ATT officially offers this phone, then they're going to require a smartphone plan. Or a special Android calling/data plan.

But then again, I don't think anyone should worry. ATT is gonna ride the iphone train forever. They have no reason to offer an Android phone to their line-up.
If these new entry level ThinkPads come with the awesome warranty service that comes with regular ThinkPads, then this could be a winner.
Wow. I love the retro look. It would be nice if it had a cover for the ipod dock, for those of us that don't have an ipod.
I just hope Sony will sell this phone unlocked and unbranded. I'm kinda getting tired of all the wireless providers requiring special (and expensive) data plans for smartphones.

For $100, I'd get one. If you have gadgets or widgets running on your computer desktop, then you might like the Chumby. For simple things like music, pictures, weather, news.. there's really no need to fire up your computer. Just use a Chumby.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
