I agree with David above. I have sent you a few emails over the years, and you have responded. This actually means quite a bit to people and I actually reference the story. People react to this type of behavior positively, as it is implied you get millions of emails, and view things differently.

I know personally I saw your world through a different lens once you replied to my email, and that will not change.

It is important to keep a constant line of communication with "all levels" so that raw messaging is not filtered all the time.
Thanks for letting me enter another great giveaway.
Hope I win...I love Engadget.
I think this is a great idea for those power users that need the space and speed. The only longterm problem I see is that theoretically the price you pay per month for the 25GB of service would actually be for less and less as time goes on and the free service provides more storage. This would mean upgrading the service offering and storage for paying users quite often. Not a fully thought out idea - just brainstorming on the business model here.
What about craigslist? its basically the same situation - yet nobody has lit the fire under them to monetize their traffic to save the world.

As a former AT&T cell phone customer I am using a 4 year old cell phone -=GASP=- and I would like to add a much needed device to my daily routine that can keep me organized.

Until Cingular decides to embrace their old customers I am going to ride this AWESOME plan as long as my trusty old phone holds up!

Thanks for the consideration.
I think this is a great idea. Hopefully CBS will not botch this media buy and will create the right messaging too. I did a similar write up earlier you may be interested in re: eggvertising:)

I think this phone will be a great addition to the apple family, I just hope they are not going overboard branding more products with the "apple" logo than consumers can handle.

I recently wrote about the marketing angle on my blog if you want to check it out: www.marketing.fm
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
