I still maintain that this UI is WAY uglier than what they have now.
He's a blackberry? Holding a palm? Riiiiight.

Also, waaaay to be late with the number of apps... and way to realise that blackberry had third party applications (of a kind) long before the iPhone.
Wave energy isn't widely used because a botched report by the UK government soon after it was developed said it would be vastly more expensive than coal energy. Despite the fact that this is total bullshit, it destroyed the scientists reputation and lead to no further development for years.

That's why it isn't currently powering everything for free.
The name iPAQ has been around since 2000, at least.
Chris, I love how I don't seem able to reply to or rank down an Engadget editor. Real nice.

I personally use a TP2 with a ROM mainly taken from the HD2, and I have to tell you than Opera is fantastic on it. and that's with half the power behind it.
@Chris Ziegler

I notice that we can't downrank Engadget staff. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Opera Mobile works super snappily on my Touch Pro2... and I'm running the HD2's rom. On a phone with half the processing power of the phone that rom was built for.

and it's awesome.
What the fuck is QUERTY anyway?

and yeah, the pearls have always had suretype...
except the iPhone doesn't because it can only run one app at a time.
Uhm...

I have tabbed browsing on Opera 9.5...
if you drop it, is it game over?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
