This looks sweet!
My favorite post of the last 5 years was the Palm Pre Hands on. http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/08/palm-pre-first-hands-on-with-live-updates/
I just really love the Pre and the great coverage that has been provided for it.
I got my shipment confirmation too, looks like mine was shipped UPS with a GUARANTEED arrival date of Febraury 24th which is 2 days before I was supposed to receive it on the 26th.
I am entering, though I'd a prefer an iPod, only an idiot refuses free stuff.
I plan on getting one as my first Blackberry to complement my iPhone. I figure the iPhone is great for personal stuff but for business things such as e-mail and documents the Blackberry seems better suited to the task. Plus on a family plan with ATT it shouldn't cost me more than about 50 bucks a month to add it.
I wouldn't give much of it away. I'd give away duplicates and play with the rest, and then maybe give it away, but having a memory from Ryan Block would be awesome.
Wish I could do this but I have to work full-time during the summer :(
I really liked it, I wish I worked at a place where there were more of the excellent, great and good people (I'd consider myself to be in the great to excellent range based on sales statistics and such) than the poor people. It would be great if my employer took the same long to hire short to fire approach that Mahalo did as well. But alas, not every company can be as awesome as Mahalo, though my employer does have one thing on Mahalo, it is closer to the beach!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
