As much as I hate to say this, goodbye G1, hello Pre.
Working like a charm. It was about time! Thanks for the heads up, egm.
But how do you get it? Even on the Opera site, the latest version from November 25, 2008:

MULTITASKING iPhone PLEASE!!!
Which is fine, in which case you have to make it at least iPhone thin in order to compete. It doesn't like like that's the case here.
WindowsMobile65 -- Nice, a tag that doesn't return anything, not even the post that contains it. :-D
They say the reason the G1 looks outdated (I have one) is because the actual hardware was designed 2 years ago. OK, fine. Now, to me, this G2 still looks outdated and, unless the thing is paper thin, there is no reason for it not to have a sliding keyboard, maybe one that slides down a la Palm Pre.
Makes sense.
Does the EM community really need an update every time there is a new application for the iPhone? Those who don't have an iPhone probably don't care. Those that do have one, probably already know.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
