It's not nearly as bad as you make it out. The worst inspections are only if you come from North America, and -some- European countries. Almost anywhere else you get the white slip and have no issue.

The reason for all of it is they simply do it properly, and as a result has had almost no issue with swine flu ("Buta Influenza"). The masks don't really help, unless you change them every 3 hours... Which they don't do. It's just nice to have the jesture of people trying. It's why I love that city and live there :)

This has been in japan since the day official announcement was made. Thats at regular stores too, not the elaborate display the have at the sony ビル

Every year in phoenix arizona there's a festival. Not just any festival but a Japanese one. It's wonderful to go to and really makes you feel like you were back in Japan, however everyone is nearly speaking english. Regardless it's a lot of fun and always a good getaway for a day, instead of flying out somewhere.

Any word on release? Just got my tilt, and that spoofed sidekick has me doing buyers remorse....

This is silly, First off you review a BETA microsoft product against a OLD version of a mac blogging app. The next version of ecto (3) is currently in Beta 2. So to compare beta versus old version of a mac app, is a little, unfair. Not to mention the next version of ecto is a lot more advanced and better than Live Writter (not to mention plugin support!). So please, do some research. And yes, i agree with this, live writtier is better than ecto 2. Which is a good 2 years old. And anybody can try ecto 3 beta, just look at it...

Gamers are not just college students. College students are more often than not, mac notebook owners. I myself am a diehard gamer, have a kick ass win-xp desktop i made myself for that reason, and love my PowerBook 12 inch dearly. yet guess what? I'm not in college!!! I even know a number of people over 35+ yrs old that play MMO's and FPS's! So watch it there eli, you stepping into somehting you shouldnt....

How can you add a GLOSSY Screen???? No matter how well it can be or the tint, it will be forever shiny and sometimes be a mirror!!!! I do web/graphic/video design for a living and this single handedly KILLED all intrest in the new macbook! Not to mention a $250 price tag for BLACK! I could understand if the black version had a dedicated graphics card, as i would buy one really fast, but hello $250 is more than enough to get my powerbook COMPLETLY etched in black goodness from the place featured here at TUAW and not to mention they are a local company!
