I looked at the yaris when i was car shopping, but i felt it was too expensive for what it was. I ended up getting a hyundai accent 3 door for about 11k which included power everything. I did get a 5 speed so it would be more fun to drive, and I usually get 33 mpg, but I drive faster than the speed limit. For less than 17k you could get an accent se with a sunroof and upgraded sound system and 4 wheel disc brakes.
