How is it the phantom when thers a closed beta for this thing?

Also i dont see why something like the iphone cant do it as long as its using wifi.
No way AT&Ts service is goung to pull that over their 1/3g conection.
Price as an argument to play time is a a fairly shitty point.
No ones asking you to pick something up the day it comes out, just wait for it to be on sale.
The last thing I want to see is a bunch of 90+ hr games for 60$ that are extended to be that time without much thought.

Id much rather see a 4 hr game with some extended reason to come back to it such as multilayer, rankings what have you.
i'm also partial to action rpg like diablo
Steam was not a perfect launch either.
It took them time to get enough groundwork to be where they are today.

Halflife 2 launch had all sorts of outcries, the servers were flooded, drm issues cross countries and all sorts of crap. They did not have the flexibility to differentiate prices from retail and hardly offered any sales / discounts on games.

This is a brand new service and a brand new approach for sony. They will go through many of the same and diferent issues before it becomes something even half decent.
Personally i hope more crap like this crops up so that it gets addressed quickly.
mixed genres are awesome
stealth/FPS such as thief the dark project
I think some mixed genres dont get enough attention.
Why does everything have to be completely generic.
Deus EX rpg/fps
BattleZone FPS/RTS
so essentially its become an Internet meme...
the days youre seen as a dancing fat boy you'll never be seen as anything else
...ever again
there really should be a view or some random option on this thing i had to vote just to see the %
seriously no one has ideas on the zomby thing?

plants vs zombies

eh, not surprising for the time this was done in tho i somehow question their selection of games.
now the real question should be what is the percentage of none human, such as robots, animals, various talking objects. as I would suspect that figure would probably crush anything here
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
