The biggest design pet peeve I have is the location of the spedometer in relation to the steering wheel on 99% of cars. I have a Scion xa and I've driven a Mini with the center spedometer... but I can never see 40 through 80 on regualr spedometers without moving my head or slouching . Drives me nuts.

a 60GB HD as a min? Is that just to handle the OS? That's ridiculous. Let's say I get a fancy new Dell tomorrow and it comes with 120GB drive. Then I want to upgrade to Vista and, phoom, half my storage is gone? That's insane.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
