11/09 according to the promo kit that the guys at MobileCrunch got. The video of the box opening is on the site with the date.
I drive more than 200 miles daily because I serve a diverse group of clients. Until electrics can handle 400 miles per charge and charge to at least 50% in a few minutes from a standard outlet, you can count out pure electrics for mobile IT pros, pharmaceutical reps, salesmen, etc. The best we can do is hybrids.

Could you imagine telling a client that you couldn't come to their office because you wouldn't have enough charge to get home... Don't forget it can take up to 30 hours to charge at 110v/15a.
Taylor - First you should count the doors, then make a comparison. A Corvette Z06 is faster than my 550i. Let's race to dinner with your significant other and another couple.

Do the same comparison between the Karma and the Tesla roadster...

I'm disappointed that they didn't include the move networks player in this alpha... I was hoping to rip it out for my Ubuntu installs :)
Rob - It just goes to show you that people would rather watch a game that they like with a team that sucks than a game that has been neutered to figure skating with a puck, regardless if the team is the best in the league.

FU - I live in "the the" real world of ratings and attendance... try google. Negative numbers before and after the strike. Basketball is in the same boat, just not as "Outdoor Network" close - if you know what I mean. Here's something that should twist your white trash nuts in a knot - They say MLS soccer will surpass both sports in attendance and ratings in the next few years. Time to set your mullet on fire, eh?

Oh, and they can raise ticket prices all they want, it doesn't mean anyone is going to buy them :)

I'm surprised there is no countdown for when the NHL will fold. It used to be good when it was actually hockey... Now it is just skating with sticks and the ratings prove it.
Honestly, have any of you ever OWNED a Verizon phone, let alone one with WinMo on it?

I've had 3 different models and NOTHING has been disabled or locked out. Their biggest offense was that the gps on the xv6800 was turned off by default. Not that they should have, their navigation software doesn't even run on windows mobile.

Stop applying what they do to there little shit dumb phones to the smartphones!

They have a usb to 3.5mm jack dongle for $5 al over the internet. I would really like to know if the a2dp works well out of the box. Adding the profiles on older HTC phones resulted in the most craptastic choppy audio even after countless registry edits to tune performace.
How about this being a good test case for small, low power htpc. Seeing an unbiased test of the two, head-to-head, using mini-itx with hdmi out would be great.
It is funny, the only time my directv service would act up would be during a sprinkle AFTER we had ordered a ppv movie. Had it for a year, will never go back.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
