This is actually against Google's terms of service. You're not supposed to obscure any advertising.
this is terrible. If all of their tactics are above board, then there's no need to keep it a secret!
social networks should start creating content on their own and only sell advertising on those pages.
Podcasting!
I love this integration! I use my task list 100% more since I have it in my inbox view now.
As a Mahalo user I often don't notice the Guide Note until I scan the links.

And I kind of like that. I don't need the context of the Guide Note until i get lost and don't find what I am looking for.

Perhaps you should do more A/B testing on this feature.
I used to use Squidoo to publish my thoughts that didn't fit a blog format, but now I don't. Why? Because of the spam. I don't want to be associated with spam.

I hope Squidoo realizes that being the best ever means that they should strive to be spam free.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
