We don't care about your fight.

Ok, ice cream in January. Yum.
I know there is a tie in to resolutions and all but it is -10 in Chicago today.

I agree with @Ricardo.

Great concept, but the site itself in my own opinion is shady shady shady.

No SSL, lots of typos on site.

A big NOGO in my book.
I wonder which braindump she used...paper MCP.
They would have more credibility if they located their stores in places where you could actually walk or bike to.

At least in IL and TX from my personal experience.
I am a recently transplanted consultant that moved from Chicago to Houston. Aside from the culture changes between the two places I felt real homesick from the fact that I moved during the summer when I am very active socially in the Chicago area.

Some things that I found myself doing was feeling very depressed, sleeping way more than usual, and eating more. All three things are completely the opposite of what I would normally do in my lifestyle.
It was a definite dark time and the dark clouds hung low.

The main ways that I snapped out of severe homesickness was to pull myself out of bed and exercise. Even a brisk walk seemed to work wonders to get me out of my funk. I eventually started cycling regularly and started to begrudingly socialize in my new surroundings.
I think if I were to describe the time when I started to not feel so homesick is when I started getting out more and enjoying the weather and learning about my new home. Socializing with other transplants helped also. A kind of group therapy.
Remember in the movie iRobot where they had a decrepid old place called "The Landfill"?
The place where the robots went to die....

If you look at the Chicago picture with Manhattan attached, it reminds me of the landmark in the movie.

1. What is it? (Be specific!)
2006 Ford Escape Hybrid

Did you buy your current vehicle(s) new, or used?
New

How long have you owned it?
About 5 weeks now

What was the reason for choosing this particular vehicle?
I wanted to trade in my Trailblazer for something more high-tech and to save on gas.

I love/like/hate my ride because...
Love my ride because of the gas savings and the look of monochromatic black.
Hate my ride because it is jerky on the road. Very responsive steering....Used to more of a luxury ride.

Any modifications, or unique original features/options?
Added factory Bluetooth phone adapter that plays through factory stereo. Unique factory feature is the hybrid drive.

If you were to sell it tomorrow, what would replace it? A BMW M5, any year....

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
