@The Great Powerful Oz

Then you should join in the discussion here where it is being ripped a new asshole by a guy who's had it for a few days.

I'm sure the Maemo enthusiasts there would appreciate your positive feedback in countering him.
@Thomas Ricker

I don't envy you my friend. I'm sure at this moment you're preparing your review of the N900 knowing the backlash you'll get from the fanboys for not stating that it's the next killer device. Yet, what you've been saying so far has been reflected by others with their early hands-on impressions as well.

@Anyone giving Ricker flack

This device is getting severely criticized by a guy like you who ordered it early on with much excitement only to be disappointed by the same things Ricker here is going to say in his review. This phone has terrible mapping, a poor keyboard, horrible exchange support, terrible e-mail client in general, and poor battery life.

I know it's easy to condemn someone on Engadget for not sharing your enthusiasm for a device and call them an Apple fanboy, but really, you should wait and see what the reviews are like for this phone. So far Ricker and this guy on HF are the only two I've read about who have it and both say the same things.
@froggy

"I expect one more post from Engadget on this phone, then the dustbin of history it is."

I'm going to hold you to that.
By their logic we probably shouldn't even have an army - you know
that place our government sends our nation's kids to become trained
killers.
Did you guys just hear something?... Neither did I.
I think it's actually the odd double placement of the word "you" that's throwing people off.
It should read "Blockbuster kiosks to offer movies on SD cards, some candy as you checkout".
@Draaaainage!

@ardentra

Have you already forgotten the massive hyping Engadget has been doing for the HTC HD2?! You guys sound like a broken record every time Engadget has anything negative to say about a company that isn't Apple, then feign surprise when they write something negative about the fruit. Just like how the next time Engadget criticizes a Symbian device, the Symbian freaks will have suddenly forgotten about this article and state that Engadget gets paid off to write bad things about it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
