eh. Apple, you let me down. i had everything ready to spoil myself with a new touch with camera. Now i'm stuck with my Bold for another few months, till you release the touch with camera for christmas. YOU GUYS BLOW! Really? focus on a low price gaming system? WTF. Spoil us like you always do and give us a device that does EVERYTHING! this is so not like you. we're not breaking up, but we are having "a talk"!
disappointment. What was i saving all this time for? a new touch with a camera? a pending netbook? even a 7 inch touch would have been awesome. and all we got was this crap, with norah jones (sigh) as the cherry? please. all in all, one if not the most disappointing apple events i can remember. now i'm trying to remember why was i looking forward to this so much... wake up apple! you guys sucked today
This means one thing: The new iphone/ipod touch will be HD. otherwise Apple will blunder the next iteration, something they're not known for.... so, NEW IPHONE/IPOD - HD ! YES!
This IS the future. Mr. Arrington get this out ASAP, this could directly compete with E-BOOK readers since it is FULL COLOR (the only reason i stay away from kindle and other readers - no color), and is the stuff dreams are made of. If this could be paired with Apples' bluetooth keyboard, the two could make the ultimate combination of portability and usability, full size computing at a low weight. This is the vision i've had for the past two years on what the apple netbook should look like. The screen resolution MUST be amazing, the power can be equivalent to current netbook offerings. THIS IS THE NEXT HOT ITEM. this will sell like hotcakes with the right configuration, marketing, and support. Holy mother of CPU this gets my juices flowing. Please do not delay on getting this out, i'll place my bet on this horse any day.
Macs are for kids, huh? Sure. They're for Kids cause they are easy to use, they're for professional adults who like to work on multimedia, cause they're straightforward and relatively (compared to pc) problem free, and they're also for the elders, because they work straight out of the box, don't have a million menus and other shenanigans that boggle the mind, and have a mom and dad you can go to when you don't understand something. By the way, how are those Microsoft stores doing? you know, the ones that give free training, have knowledgeable peeps who's sole purpose is to help you understand how to get where you wanna go, and make your getting along with your computer a pleasant experience. I hope, for MS sake, that Win 7 is as good as XP. If you understood the irony in the last sentence and giggled, a round of applause. if you don't, go buy a PC and Make sure it's Win7 compatible, because that worked so well the last time.
HP? and Vista? LOL. yyyeah sure, thats way better than a MAC with osx, right... anyone who's a fan of SNL, lets say together: REALLY??? Vista is one of the worst operating systems of all times, and HP makes such "quality" products.

question: What company releases an os that is mostly incompatible with the majority of hardware customers already have, then tries to hide it, cover it, keep lying about how good it is and how well it's doing, and then ties it up with such a "great" quality hardware manufacturer like HP.

hey MS, i have a new product for you to come out with: SNAKE OIL! it really works! go sell your bullshit elsewhere.

if only we could account for time spent dealing with system issues, then the "real" strength of windows would come out. viruses, crashes, incompatibility, hunting down drivers in the virus laden wasteland windows systems love crawling in, reinstalling, crapware, bluescreens.

MS, nothing you do except actually come out with a great product will help convince that you actually have a quality product. now get to work instead of feeding us this crap
Damn straight i learned a lesson, I went MAC, and i never looking back. Now, PCs with "Vista" look to me like amateur hour compared
to the wonderful two driverless years and NOT A SINGLE CRASH/BLUE SCREEN ON THE MAC! love it. Microsoft, way to go. I would have never done it if you didn't develop inferior products like Vista, and then try to shove them down our throats.
Someone needs to tell
the folks at AMD
that the naming scheme sucks!
Conesus? Shrike?
come on
Sweet! Sweet spot, they need to come in all sizes
choose the size you want and go with it
i would love a 6 inch super mini laptop
with a blackberry keyboard
and an apple on the inside
for 3g surfing, for life
for movies and music
can communicate with my iphone for file transfers
and has a video alarm clock

takers?
for those who care - Iphone 3g won. good jobs.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
