I'm wondering how long you'll be willing to pay for substandard performance and manufacturing. Apparently, forever. I get stuck with GM cars often as I travel frequently for work. GM's a joke. What they produce can only be summed up as laughable. From the Malibu to the Imapala to the CTS to the Escalade, all of their vehicles are worthless.

Wake me up when the fanboys stop jerking off to fantasies that one day GM will regain its glory. Not gonna happen. They blew it in the 80s and from the 90s on, they're only going to be looking at smaller and smaller marketshare.

Good riddance. Please take Mopar and Ford with you on the way down the drain.
That's a normal name?

As for the hot wife thing...uh, work on the personality, guys. Quick wit, confidence and always being conscientious = easy to hook up with hot women.

Never understood why people made a big deal about the fat guys on TV having hot wives. Watch "The Tao of Steve" if you want a clue into how it works...women aren't as shallow as men. That helps.
@FLR -

1. 335i sedan via European Delivery is 37k including shipping and the parts I want on the car (sport suspension, comfort access, etc).

2. The 335i is too big for me as it is. The G8 is positively monstrous.

No such thing as a 540i. Dunno where you guys got that but it doesn't exist. A 535i via ED, including shipping and dealer profit, is 44k. I'm odd but I'd rather drop 44k on a BMW than 35k on a GM.
@nick - on what planet is GM a good manufacturer? They're American...'nuff said.
Okay, it's a Holden and after the last lame Holden to hit our shores - say GTO - I can't fathom even an iota of excitement about this car. Looks like something from the 1980s, it's huge, and it's got the worst DNA of any car-line (hint, two letters: GM).
Ditto. There's nothing remotely BMW-like in a Pontiac. If for some reason I were to decide not to buy another BMW, I'd go Mazda or Subaru.
Dee, yes slysoft's got the ability to convert DVD videos into MP4s. I've got a bunch of my favorite shows on dvd and then converted them to mp4s to watch them on my ipod.
Mazdaspeed6 had a whole host of other issues:

1. Overweight.
2. Haldex FWD-bias AWD system
3. Poor gearing - no freeway cruising gear
4. Crappy clutch
5. Peaky engine - same engine that hamstrings the Mazdaspeed3 and CX-7.
CapAmerica,

As PS3 sales continue, so does the trojan horse of Blu Ray. By this time next year we'll see many millions of people with Blu Ray players. Most people forget that Sony's PS2 having a DVD player built-in was a big deal as the DVD was nascent in 2000 also.

Come October when GTA IV hits the PS3, you're gonna see a jump in two things: PS3 sales and blu ray movie sales.

Good lord, nothing like seeing way too much of that ass-hat material-stealing clown Cook.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
