i saw the $750 no commitment pricing - is that how much it'll cost in the store at "retail" price? If so... that's crazy! The Bold 9000 wasn't that much.. I don't think....closer to $500 would seem appropriate to me.
looks like the one on the right is the Onyx in my opinion - appears wider.
this is one of the reasons they're moving towards the trackpad - less movable/breakable parts. It's funny that this didn't happen with the 9000 or 8900. viva la Bold :)

i think it's more than just the 'early' phones though - i wouldn't consider phones being purchased as of last week "early" by any means since the phone was released on July 12th.
was really hoping this would come to AT&T first... fingers still crossed that maybe they'll do a joint launch for T-Mobile/AT&T in the same way they did the Tour on Verizon/Sprint.
anybody else think that these videos are viral marketing by RIM? Stirring up excitement for the phone with a "leaked" essentially production-ready model seems pretty ingenious to me.
can't wait to get this up and running.
looking forward to this, but also DJ Hero - finally a new spin on the same idea!
one way to fix the world is to give everybody these handsets! safe drivers FTW.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
