Jawbone Prime makes this piece of archaic / ridiculi look like a pain in the backside. If you want a good / trouble-free / quality headset, the Prime is your man.
EVERYONE READING THIS THREAD (assuming we're all fairly tech-savvy) NEEDS TO REMEMBER THAT OVER THE COURSE OF OUR EXPERIENCE WE ALL EVENTUALLY REALIZE THAT WE HAVE OUR STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES.
Josh is probably pretty damned incredible at several things (alas, he's the e-in-chief).
Just because he hasn't jailbroken is 3GS yet (since it was just released this week and I'm certain that he hasn't been busy with business)
doesn't really mean a lot guys/gals. C'mon.
The point he's making (as were so many of the comments which were, by-in-large, quite edifying) is simply that as we come closer and closer to achieving business-from-our-pocket technologies.. when you put it to the test, nothing's really got the ergonomics/usability to make that happen EFFECTIVELY from a doctor's office lobby quite yet.
The keyboard/screen-size/app speeds/ability to switch between apps quickly are all still quite archaic.
Cheers Josh.
Screw pink! I think I'm in LOVE with this pastel easter-egg hunt motif'!! ...tell me it comes packin a punch with a belt-holster-wielding man-purse and I'm sold! I hope Barney doesn't subscribe to this feed! He'd be soo jealous of THIS phone's back-side.
Haha- guilty as charged. F5'd about 10 times before checkin good ol' Engadget for the nasty truth..

AAAAAAHHHH C'mon Apple!!!! I need my daily fix! So that once i get it, I'll be excited for 5 minutes and then go back to work with nothing else to look forward to - just like every Christmas when i was a kid!
..I had my heart set on the matte. When the keynote ended, I sat slumped in my chair wondering if there would be more exciting news after the credits or something.. Front facing camera? FM tuner? *sigh*..
P.S. Coming to Salty Lick City, UT soon. Ooof..did I say that out loud?
For the record: they didn't necessarily 'SNEAK' WiMax into Vegas.. They had an entire BOOTH announcing it and talking about it at CES. Geez guys.. *sigh*
Everyone is entitled to their opinion..

For what it's worth - I'm in the IT network support field and spend about 5+ hours per day glued to my phone.
Jawbone 1 was the best all-around performer (clarity, range, battery-life, lack of voice distortion)...
Jawbone 2 IS a great headset as far as aesthetics and looks (despite many comments above)...find me a better looking one!!
-- I decided to stick with my Jawbone 2 despite the voice problems when the nub wasn't touching my cheek simply due to
it's outstanding feather-weight and ability to just stick in my ear and pop-out without the ear clip.
(yes, I dealt with daily comments like "I can't hear you - your voice just went very distant" - but I'd just push it against my
cheek again and I was back in business).
** I've tried and still have a box full of ALL top-of-the-line BT headsets on the market. The Jawbones are just the best quality.

THAT SAID - THE PRIME CAN EASILY BE THE BEST BT HEADSET EVER MADE IF IT DELIVERS ON THE POINTS PROMISED!! You have to stick with it for a few days before you grow accustomed (just like any high-tech device).
So, not to be a DebbieDowner or critique a fine job of media coverage.. But when doing the segment on Samsung's Booth, you clearly said "LG's Booth" when you started your introduction. ;-) Just got a chuckle out of that - such a rival slip. Keep up the good work guys.
-Cheers
Can someone please fix my text message sounds please? Apparently Apple's team is too busy fixing the unfixable [*ahem* reception *ahem*] to focus on the little - yet extreeemely annoying bugs that have now plagued my iPhone since build 1.............2.................wait for it.........3 now.

Cheers.

P.S. Great phone, amazingly useful and irreplaceable despite my gripes. But good grief. ;)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
