Then move to Europe you commie.
Can't Microsoft even come up with just one original idea?? How embarrassing must it be to be them?
Yes there is a solution. MobileME. If you're interested but think it's too expensive, look on Ebay for a code. I bought mine there for $40 and used the Microsoft LiveSearch rebate to get it even lower. Ended up being like $30 for the year. Not too bad!
PLEASE Apple, just let me READ and compose email in LANDSCAPE MODE! I'm tired of scrolling an email back and forth to read it. How hard can this possibly be to implement???
Typical Lib. Can't go 30 seconds without starting the name-calling.

You're boring.
When you say "credible news orginizations", surely you are not referring to NPR?
The nerve of some people these days.

"The removal of the lock, a bug, ....."

"It speaks of "damage" done to the firmware and "unauthorized access" to our own property..."

The hardware is their own property, but it's use is subject to the software license agreement that they agreed to when purchasing the iPhone. Did the iPhone Dev Team not read the iphone software license agreement??

Just because they "own" the iPhone hardware doesn't mean they can *legally* do what ever they want with it (and then complain indignantly when the Apple simply warns them). I own a nice big rock that I found in my backyard, but that doesn't mean I have the right to throw it through my neighbor's window.
It's news enough to really piss me off! 8 weeks for $200 is not a good deal. Last time I'll buy something from Apple on release day (or any where near release day for that matter).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
