See, this is why T-Mobile has the better idea, using wi-fi. I was in London at a hot spot, and was calling home for no extra charge. They had no clue (or didn't really care)!!
I bet this one is going on the iDEN side of the house over at Sprint.
So has anyone gotten one of these yet? I have a 6131 and a 6126 (these are basicly the same as the 6133), and both of them take microSD for memory expansion. The 6133 on all of the sites (including tmobile.com and nokiausa.com) all say that this takes miniSD. Does anyone but me think that this is a typo?
I saw this on their site earlier, and I thought that this looks more like a swivel phone than a flip phone. It looks like there is not a display on the front if it is a flip. You would think that the Apple phone would have a display on the outside.
Ok, so las time I checked, there was no benefit for their phones to be unlocked. You would only be able to use them on another CDMA carrier, and even that would be dificult since that carrier would have to load the ESN into their servers. I don't know of any carrier that is willing to do that for an individual customer. If they were GSM, I would inderstand this lawsuit. Someone should be filing a lawsuit against Cingular for this one!!!!
The E70 is availible unlocked at the Nokia Flagship Stores in Chicago and NY. The one that they are selling is the US Tri-Band version. It even comes with a US warranty!
Sorry, I forgot the email address.....worldsolutionsinc@gmail.com
If you don't want to wait until the 21st to get your hands on an 8700c, let me know. I will have them avalible this friday (11/11/05).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
