is that a slacker radio logo in the upper left of the screen?
these bint chocolate b&bs are great!
xandros shmandros. i put ubuntu on my 4g surf and never looked back. works great too.
awww man, i would've bid on it.
the "return of the snappy" is because cache gets cleared when you reboot for the update. you'd get the same result just by rebooting the iphone when it starts to slow down. it's got nothing to do with the update itself. whatever bugs the update fixed are not obvious.
i had a couple of sanyo phones years ago when i was with sprint, and they were great. too bad they don't have any gsm offerings in the u.s., not that i'm currently looking for a phone.
when i first read the headline, i thought it said "vonage dies".
oh, i guess i should add that i haven't had problems yet with it on 3g after the update either.
8gig iphone 3g. no gps problems. found me in seconds in a field outside of georgetown, ohio on sunday. took forever to load the google map on edge though, of course.
does this require the original xandros to work?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
