AT&T is migrating to LTE not too far in the future. T-Mobile has been demonstrating LTE since last year. I believe that a carrier partnership could be happening but not the way a lot of people think. Perhaps leasing towers and such but T-Mobile Europe may just make a bid for Ma Bell.
Too bad Nokia beat you to it Palm on the N900. I thought we would have it first..sigh.
I second that. Much better than the first. Palm should ask for a refund from the first dude.
Can I has on the Palm Pre please!

Agreed. Phone makers need to compete which brings innovation = better phones for the masses. In time, and a very short amount of it, we will see better and better OS's loaded on better hardware. Apple, Android, WinMo & Palm have all provided us with a glimpse of the future.
Two of my buds already received their online orders for the N900 and are happily pleased. What's the deal?
They decided since Apple's sold 30+ Million iPhones, now would be a good time to sue (since Apple couldn't come to an agreement on licensing). Why? Because now they can put a figure out exactly "how much" lost revenue is derived from the patent licensing.

Part of the problem with Nokia is proof of use in commerce. They will have to demonstrate to the courts that they have had all of these disputed patents in use, like the iPhone has had. Chances are, this will be settled out of court once the suit produces a damages figure.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
