Oh, forgot to mention - for those of you who haven't held one yet, I held one last weekend and the trackball is PHENOMENAL. Soooo smooth, like ice. Nothing like my gritty/crunchy sounding BB Curve. HTC build quality on this one is countless times better than my first HTC experience (Mogul). You'll love it!
**SPRINT + ANDROID = LOVE

Don't know why it cut that off? Oh well...
Ordered!!! :)

$304.49 after taxes and then $100 MIR, plus a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge service credit for some drama they gave me with BIS billing back in September that I just had them apply now (wanted to hold off for this phone purchase to drop the price a ton). AHHHHH CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPRINT + ANDROID =
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Treo 700p is lookin' pretty sad these days...
Kinda was hoping Sprint would get a Magic/MyTouch because it look's cooler and less boxy, but I'll take the better specs of a Hero. I'm all over this. Sprint I love you! Anyone have ANY idea on what pricing should be like??
AGREE!!!!! NEXT! It's hard to get used to that layout and it makes it look like a teenager's qwerty dumbphone...I want my smartphone to actually look like a smartphone.

But....congrats to Sprint for Android and finally showing some proof.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Finally simultaneous voice/data. If Sprint jumps on this, I'm NEVER switching! Although, I've always wondered why is it so hard to do in the first place? Can someone clear this up for me - Couldn't devices now just be built with one 1x/voice radio, and 1 separate EVDO radio? I guess battery drain would be the biggest issue but the EVDO radio could remain dormant until needed... Either way, I'm excited.
"with arch rivals like Virgin" - That's kind of funny because Virgin uses Sprints network...I know its not the iden side but still, competition on the same network is a little funny to hear.
Yeah, my first assumption after "no Sprint PictureMail" was that I'd be re-living the horror days of my mogul, treo 800w, curve (before the WM and BB apps to allow proxy MMS) emailing my pics to phone numbers...hated that! So will this have true MMS then? Sprint needs that all around to be honest - sick of this crappy wannabe mms that they have to make workarounds for.
Umm...

1. Sprint has sold SIX Nokia models... Go here and choose "Show older Nokia devices".

2. The 6165i (in it's time) was considered high end, being the only Nokia offered with Bluetooth and a 1+ megapixel camera.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
