not sure what system is best, but the US traffic light system needs an overhaul in many areas. BMW is working on smart signals for the US... hope they end up doing it. http://bimmeraddiction.com/bmw-looking-to-help-everyone-with-smart-traffic-systems-147
what a bland car, like most of GM's offering
Nürburgring Nordschleife
Audi R8 LMS Race Car '09
I will admit it does not appeal to me enough to purchase, but I hate when people dis a vehicle because it looks unlike anything else out there. (i.e. cube, mito, etc).

I think it's good to have an ugly betty or something unique on the market. It breaks up the mundane and tired Accord, Camry, Tuarus, Altima..etc pattern.
Let them vanish. We can't give them a lifeline every few months. They just fell victim to capitalism.

Here is a thought...why not completely stop production until inventory levels out, and layoff maybe 50% of its workforce. Why are you still making cars if ports and dealer lots are full?
Does it really matter how it looks? I don't think you're going to see many of these cars sitting on the showroom floor. If it's cheap, and it functions well then it's a great commercial vehicle.
Although i'm not a huge fan of their cars, I always thought Saturns looked better than most of GM's offering. I even think hummer is a pretty decent brand, they should transform that company into something that can be side by side with a range rover.

I wish Saturn had enough time, and money to continue making cars as a US company. I think what was lacking were beautiful, sporty and innovative cars from the domestic brands. Hopefully that is changing with Tesla, Fisker, and hopefully others will join the bunch
People want cheap. Developers want money but will only do what is worth the price.
Once again, you get what you pay for( most of the time)

As a developer, when it comes to developing for the iPhone, i'm usually trying to think of what I can make the fastest amount of time that takes the least amount of effort. It is impossible to build a business solely on the iPhone platform, unless you're churning out useless apps every couple of weeks.

No matter how much marketing you do, since the AppStore is the only way for users the purchase apps, they will search for your app, and immediately shop around for something cheaper and/or better. You don't have the convenience of someone buying an app directly from your site, or another 3rd party.

Unfortunately this is the nature of the game where the users demand "pop apps", which is basically the pop music of the software world -- throw-away summer hit titles that are a distant memory by next season.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
