apple dont need to make a CDMA version for this phone. By then i think we will be at 4G and all carrier will be switch to LTE. As long as iphone have 4G pretty much everyone can use it under the 4G network.
there's an option on the HD to change the setting to 850/1900 3G but it wont connect to the 3G network. i think that it is locked, i think a ROM flash will do the job but no one has figure it out yet.
it looks exactly like the DoCoMo SO905iCS from Sony Ericsson.
for softbank and docomo's 3G phones they all have GSM in them. It allows the japanese to do roaming.
i just want to know how many of you people have actually used 3G? Dont say its useless or it sucks when you havent used it.
Cost wise it really depends on your carrier. im with Rogers 3G and i only pay $5 a month and i get unlimited video calling.
Not with the 906 series right now. the 905 series can be used using a hypersim. im using two SE SO905iCS in toronto right now and it works great. and i have sold many DoCoMo 905 series phones.
if you are used to qwerty keyboard then i dont think it will be too easy for you to text on the N95. i had the tytn i and iphone before getting the N95. texting on it it was hell cuz i was used to the qwerty. it was so bad that i had to get a tytn II, also the battery life sucks on the N95.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
