Probably just provide links to the Waterstones and WH Smith ebook stores, as Sony does with their reader library software.
It locked things you downloaded from iTunes to iPods, through their DRM.
Please put your stores in city centres, so we don't have to put up with a bloody hour long trek to a soulless retail park in the middle of nowhere like it is for most PC Worlds/Comets.
Best Buy already own half of Carphone Warehouse, it was hinted a while back that they wanted to set up Best Buys but clearly the Geek Squad was easier to set up first.

Add narration of every article by Stephen Fry and everyone will want one! (whether Stephen Fry will agree to narrating the whole of Wikipedia is another matter...)
I think this is a really awkward way of selling these to people outside the States with all the roaming fees added to book purchases and that, plus shipping to the UK, for example will attract more awkwardness with the paying VAT and customs duties on top of the price.

I think I'll wait until they sort out a Amazon UK version and UK SIM cards are plugged into the things so there won't be roaming fees, and prices are in sterling so you're not flicking to a currency converter all the time.
...And of course, those self scan checkouts are rubbish- in the local Tesco there's always at least one that either isn't working or is running at a snail's pace or the chip & pin machine is broken. You might as well pay for four human checkout operators and the queues would probably go faster!
Hooray an Archos device that you won't have to pay way over-the-odds prices just to enable the web browser!
University library access would be fantastic, during my degree getting journal articles and book chapters onto the 505 was a clunky process, and wasn't well formatted. If they can get partnerships with the big journal article databases like Jstor and EBSCO this would be a must have for students!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
