I have a pool table and a projector but virtually no programming skills, wonder if theyll sell me the software only :(
Your ignoring the fact that even at 160 paise for a full message that's less than a penny per text. Talk about freaking cheap!

Sending LOL 66 times = 1 penny for them, $13.20 for most in the US without a dedicated plan(20 cents each).
So they are going to charge me for a wallpaper that has a calender on it? This should so be free.

They could just upload the 12 wallpapers to the web and you could save to the phone. No app required, no coding necessary, etc.
I'm gonna call bull____ on this one unless someone can prove otherwise.

Try playing the same song 3 times and tell me the images come out the same, otherwise it's probably just voice activated randomness.
Software aside, that's one sexy phone.
How about a video of creating a very basic app and what's involved? Or does creating even a one function app take hours? Would be useful for those looking to get started what they might be getting into.

Such a thing probably exists somewhere, if so post a link =)
So... not condoning this but say someone had purchased 20 paid apps and posted their user/pass, then everyone could download those apps for free. Interesting....
Get school credit for working on an app, get an A, get app listed in the app store, use proceeds to pay your toution...win win win win. Plus I'd imagine the apps would be pretty good.

Two thumbs up!
Keeping the non disclosure agreement intact allows apple to freely ignore adding apps to the store that challenge its future profitability or at&t's/other carriers. All the while since the developers have not been able to tell us they are working on the project, we're none the wiser. Big brother apple in action...sounds more like something the Big brother M would do though.
Searching for more details on att.com I found that if you load $100 on your account at one time they actually give you $120 on your account

6 months of unlimited data plus phone available at 0.25/min for $100...sweet deal
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
