Ya I meant blasters I havent read it in awhile maybe I will now.
Maybe they should call Trantor the galaxies best civilization, Lucas stole so much from Asimov in the Foundation Trilogy. I wont list them all but man there are like 15 real things in those books he stole, like the force, hyperdrive, Trantor, jedi, i think even lightsabers.
Well if you need a new pc, buy it, and then add a few key parts, largely a nice gfx card. I mean if you want to spend $2000+ go ahead it can be done. But lets say you buy a 500 dollar pc, (minus monitor, etc) then just add a couple of parts. I tell this to people who want a gaming pc but dont have the $.

BUT, dont go buy a gateway, go to Newegg.com and buy it peice by peice, reuse your old case, cd/dvd drive, maybe even things like your hard drive (atleast use the old one for extra space) and you can get more and more for less. I mean that dvd player you have will be 99% the same thing (assuming of course its not like 4 years old). Anyway if you do it smart you dont NEED to buy so much. Now as Im saying this, dont expect it to be a monster, but to be able to play 100% of the same games the $8000 pcs play, ofcourse just not as well.
Ok I obv am a returning user, and the fact that people can sign in under other peoples names seems odd. How can they do that? And why can they do that, I mean if I signed up and have a pw, why do I have to also confirm what I wrote?
Oh and why the F do we need to confirm our posts in email? I mean ive been using the net since like 93 and this and engadget are easily the 2 dumbest comment systems out there. I mean now I have to go to my email to confirm what I just wrote, hmmm. And my phone next time i look at it.

Maybe i should confirm my gallon of milk after the bagger has bagged it, hmm yup, I still want my milk, better make sure its white milk. Oh ya, its white, make sure its cold, oh ya, its covered in condensation, what about the date, its fresh. Maybe I should just pour a bowl of cereal in the store here to make sure it will be delicious. Yup, its yummy! Im glad I checked to make sure I wanted my milk!
Funny thing is is, I actually DO vote w my wallet w games. I mean COD WAW came out and because I was mad at how COD MW had helicopter spam and heard how the dumb perks were left in WAW I simply passed. I just dont understand the helicopter perk in the pc game, its so easy to get 7 kills in a row. I would use the perks but mainly cause to stay competitive you need to. Its worse than any game that has sheilds, or other fairy ass gimme's. Its stat padding. I get a few kills and hit button 6, oh wow I get a bonus 2-6 kills. Dumb. So I wont be buying this game either, and now to hear that itll cost me 60, HA! And I was thinking of it mainly cause Ive learned to play non heli/perk servers on CODMW. Perks aside, MW was a real good shooter, one that I still play, (mainly cause this summer has been pretty dry)
Agreed I just skimmed the article it is in there alot.
I think a large part of why dx10 is somewhat rare is that companies involved in multiplatform titles couldnt do dx 10 cause console couldnt do it. Why build a game engine that would be unusable on the consoles and on only some of the pcs out there (obv alot of pcs by now). As for pc exclusives I dont know why there arent more games tho.
I love the Stones I do, but they are always doing what the Beatles are doing. Following in their footsteps both musically and career wise. After Sgt Pepper they do Her Satanic Majesties, after Let it Be, they do Let it Bleed, after the Anthology they do their own giant retrospective book, now after Beatles Rock Band, they do this. They are all talented guys but their idea men, their managers etc have no original ideas. Im just waiting for their Cirque de soloi show. But I still love the Stones.
Do what I'm doing, buying it at the discount, with added line and data, then a month from then, do a switch with an old phone, have that on that line and leave the pc as a pc with wifi. Then u arent paying a data plan, but at least have the option to say if u go on vacation to add it on there temporarily. I just hope they leave the wifi and allow phone switching.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
