I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for a cameraless version of this the same as the E51. I need a cameraless phone for work and would like it to have some redeaming features.
Well, iphone users can't buy their phone outright, choose their network or change battery, why would they want to choose which software to install. If this were any other company, no one would put up with it. It really is high time apple started treating it's users like grown-ups. But then you make less money when you don't get a cut on every angle of the device's use.
Imagine, a phone with a choice of browser.
Let's face it, the iPhone had to be faster than something, however I can change contracts and batteries much faster on the BB bold than the iPhone. The iPhone may be a better phone but Stevie can kiss my a$$ before I sign up for an 18 month contract with no choice of provider, a closed application model and no chance to replace the battery.
I'll be having one of those the day it hits the UK :D
The magical world of a free market, it's a wonder no-one thought of it before. If I buy a Dell, HP or whatever, there's only one major operating system I'm not allowed to run, so OK I won't run it.

I wont buy Apple hardware after the piece of junk 3G iPod I made the mistake of buying, it's install this and we'll install these policy and the fact that I just can't change the battery in half of their products or expect them to last 3 years.
MS does this and they're evil, but it's fine for apple. Run our great OS, it's way better, but you'll have to buy our computers and our spare parts. We'll also make it much easier for you just to buy our phones and MP3 players while you're there.

Of course it's easier to develop an operating system for multiple hardware platforms, but every other vendor seems to manage it. Apple's tie in sale model stinks they are so anti-competitive it isn't true and the only reason it isn't an issue is because they have such a porr market share.
I'll think about an iPhone when apple lets me choose my carrier and change my battery like every other phone company. They've imposed their closed business model on the wrong market in my opinion.
Carphone Warehouse, that paragon of reliable specs and release dates. It usually pushes dates back a month or two, but at least we know it's coming.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
