You can all thank Bellus for this one (Telus and Bell) they are two of the three largest carriers in Canada that just when HSPA+(3G). I can't wait to see waht Telus and Bell offer... if it's good I'm jumping ship, Bye Bye Rogers.
Wow... a little slow???

This has been Rogers for a while now, almost since the beginning of October.
I've heard a lot of people say they don't like S60, but these are people switching from a dumb phone, or from another Smartphone. I myself LOVE S60, I've use a S60 Nokia for several years. I started with a 6620, then the 6682 and now the N95. I would like to see how the S60 5th edition interacts compared to what I’m using now. I will admit however S60 is an aging platform that needs a bit of an update and a refresh to the actual interaction with the OS.
What do you use? the iPhone? have you ever owned or used the N97 for an extended period of time? The reviews on the N97 have been both positive and negative. I for one have not used the N97 yet, but am a huge nokia fan. Hopefully soon I'll see the N97 in Canada. Rogers Wireless did launch the N95 8GB.
I live in Windsor, Ontario... certainly not a big city by any means. We have ALWAYS had 3G here, it grows every few months and soon will be all of Essex county. We have 7.2Mbps here, it will only be a matter of time before we get 21Mbps here. As for bell and TELUS, 3G gives you simultaneous data and voice.... you don't have that on either of the two, but you do on Rogers and Fido. TELUS and Bell are more like 2.75G and not true 3G.
Ok... he is what I want to know, apple has been using the touch wheel since 2002.... it's now 2009.... why didn't you do this sooner?

And to you Mr. Jackson, not all of us have more money than brains. I have the first iPod Video, I don't have every song ever written but I have about 2,000 songs total. Sure an iPod touch would be nice, but I don't have that kind of money. Secondly I use my iPod as a portable Hard Drive as well. Thirdly the iPod nano isn't going to be replaced by the iPhone nano if it even exists. Not everyone wants a phone with their iPod. I surely don't and why does it take a “smartphone” three generations to figure out how to take video and send picture messages, and it can't even multi-task.
Bell launched the Tour Today, it's available on their site. Telus is going to be launching it soon as well...... you gotta remember BlackBerry is a Canadian company ;)
That is really weird, I have emailed nokia about it... i'm just waitig on a responce.
You are all aware that if you work for a big secure company you are going to have corporate email. That email is delevered by a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, your IT admin can set an IT policy to disable the camera completely.... so any BlackBerry with a camera can be a non camera BlackBerry via IT Policy.
Ok, well it's pretty obvious T-Mobile doesn't know what it's talking about. If the phone had Wi-Fi even just UMA nokia would state it on it's website. Nokia also would not make two different models of the same handset one for the US and one for Canada espically how the one for Rogers (Canadian carrier) is going to have Talkspot support (UMA) on a device that doesn't even have Wi-Fi......
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
