Makes no sense - data is data and Email is Email. No additonal charge for Exchange Email support on a Sprint device.
The G1 may be a great consumer device but I doubt you'll see any movement within corporate accounts - no ActiveSync support. Makes it hard to use as a business device.
Do your homework - the monthly service is in place of having to purchase and maintain a AAA server.
Corporate BlackBerry data - attached to a BES - can be managed and protected. There is no need for a static IP on those devices.
The BB OS is Java - not Linux.
Sprint international data plan for BB's and Windows Mobile devices is $69.99.
Here in the rocky mountain west 10 local state governments formed a purchasing contract with all the wireless carriers and none of them charge ETF. What's the big deal?
TMo and AT&T have WiFi in their units due to the slow EDGE data compared to EVDO.
The $30.00 BIS plans also includes Sprint Navigation and unlimited SMS. Better deal than the PowerVision plans.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
