"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
ON THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2008, AT 5:00 P.M., A VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. TOLD ME THAT HE HAS AN HTC VERZON USER MANUAL AND THAT THE REPS WILL BE TRAINED ON MARCH 31. THIS MEANS THAT THE PHONE WILL BE AVAILABLE PROBABLY SOMETIME IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF APRIL… I FIGURED IT WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO ASK, SINCE THE 'BIG-WIGS' AT VERIZON HAD A TECH. CONFERENCE IN NYC ON THE 19TH AND 20…. STILL, IT'S FRUSTRATING THAT VERIZON HAS BEEN SO CAGEY ABOUT RELEASING THIS INFO. STILL, GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE OF US LOOKING FOR A CDMA IPHONE WANNA-BE.
