EPIC FAIL!
GET YOUR PLMN DUCKS IN A ROW
yes this is a beautiful concept camera. Cannot wait to see what the specs/IQ are... and hopefully it would come in under 500... Slap a pancake 50mm 1.8 on that bad boy and we're in action.. wish I didn't have to buy all new lens setup, but if the price is right I would make the jump.
I think my current package is pretty small, but could always be better, nikon d40 w/ sigma 30mm 1.4
so yes, I can understand the delay affecting SE's bottom line, and frustrating SE's core power user groups. But ultimately this delay is due in a large part to HTC. Se is not developing any of the winmo SW, so I hardly see how SW conflicts/sluggish UI/delayed launch directly contributed to SE. Why HTC is having so many problems developing the UI in a timely matter I have no the slightest. There is a conflict of interest on HTC's part, but there should have been contracts to cover all this.
I work for another mobile company, and I test 3g all over the US, and
I can say easily that 3G coverage is really not that bad in the US..
Maybe 20 miles outside a metro city it can get spotty, but on our
phones, the 3g coverage is just fine. I'm talking tethered ftp
downloads of 500 MB while driving all around the city, and not a
hiccup.. I was beginning to wonder how apple was cramming so many
antenna's into one, I guess they had to make a few sacrifices..

Oh and not to mention just looking at those pictures there seems to be a few problems with their anechoic chamber.
well the deal is, SE can pretty much put 1700 into any phone they please, with a lot of extra man hours of dev and testing.
There must be a business case to support it though.

this is a great deal (on contract) on a really nice phone. Walkman sounds really good, and the external controls, after getting used to, are really nice, and welcome change from the usual side buttons..
This is a great phone to pick up if you want a good mp3 player that can also make calls and send txt's
those specs are rediculous. video recording, on a dslr? Yea I'll take body only please...
Rivals the market of europe? To be honest there is no market in europe, it's overly saturated, and phones are like baseball cards now..
the new market is latin america
don't you mean the "slashdot" effect... gotta pay your dues!
the external controls ARE very nice.. When this phone is released it will be amazing..
I wouldn't say the keypad has no tactility..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
