If it will work on all the US bands.....even as with just GPRS...not even EDGE....I would cry I would be so happy. I have always wanted a RAZR....and this phone is so nice looking. So nice.
I have some questions about these phones:
Will the KRZR and MAXX have FM radio support?
Also: Do they have the previously seen expandable data lock? Like, there is 2GB microSD's out now... Can I only use the 1 GB one in them?
OHH. I want them to go on sale properly so bad. I want to buy one from like Singapore factory unlocked for CHEAP. Or like $400 + shipping. The best part of these models going on sale is, the RAZR v3/i and SLVR L whatevers of this world will be getting cheaper. So if I on my very low budget wanted to buy one as a gift...can ever more so now.

The only deciding factor in the MAXX versus the KRZR is price. And I want to see a physical KRZR, I am not sure if I will really like it
Well. Too me low figures are obvious. This phone is marketed at myspace users. Yes, there are some 70 mil of them. But most of them, let's say 95% are high schoolers. None of them are economically independant. So only the uber rich ones could possibly aquire this phone. Then there are foreigners on myspace. Let's guess they account for 4%. That leaves 1% of the market able to purchase this phone, and most of them are still bogged down with contracts, or they have the RAZR, which may not be as good of a phone, but is more attractive.
Boy genius. You are a super hero.
I will probably buy this phone when it comes out, but I am extremely dissapointed its not 3g. I would still like some more specs though. If its not 3g it better not be over $500.

I can deal with finger marks. My blue sanyo has them already.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
