What a joke..... "you have product in stock" oh really..... where is it?, cause its not anywhere that most of the world can buy em. I'm effin pissed because I stood in line for almost two hours and walked away with no phone and no promise of an iphone anytime soon. Whats up with delivering them only 25 at a time.... like seriously.... it doesnt make sense to me. Just drop off like 500 phones per store and let them sell.... dont piss of your customers by making it a hassle to buy your product. You had plenty of time to get them manufactered and shipped, so why are there shortages everywhere? You probably turned off lots of customers this way... normal people do not want to stand in line for anything... get it right.

No, you are right.... they probably havent put as much resources into it as they could... but in my opinion, even with the carrier subsidies.... thats not going to give them enough reason to turn into "anti-unlock nazi's". Thats heading down the same bottomless pit as DRM and other copyright protection schemes. They will try hard, the community will try harder, and it will frustate everyone on both ends. The smart move on the carrier end would be to offer compelling pricing so that users wont want to hop off their network in the first place. Plus they are already protected with the contract and ETF, why even bother? Ok, so this guy bought an iphone, cancelled his contract, paid the etf, then unlocked his phone to go to a different carrier. If the service was so bad that that guy wanted to shell out the extra money to leave it, then the carrier has bigger problems than keeping their phones locked.

So the extra hundred divided by a 24 month contract would be the equivilant of raising the data fee $4.50. Plus I still double my storage and get an exclusive color. For the extra $10 a month or $240 per contract, I get absolutely nothing. Not much of a comparison there. If it was $240 to up my street cred, I might think twice about it. And what kind of Apple user are you if you dont care about street cred? Thats pretty much what all of their Mac sales are based on. Its the same line I hear from people raised in the operator era.... "I just need a phone that makes calls, I dont need all those extra features" Yet they carry an old school paper address book and calculator..... get with it.

GPS, Louder speakers (big one for me), flush headphone jack, sexy curves, and most importantly...... street cred. The white one so that everyone knows I shelled out the extra benjamin. Plus I'm unloading my scratched up, jailbroken and unlocked first gen on someone who doesnt want to get a contract, and who doesnt know how to jailbreak etc. My difference is $50.... why wouldnt I?

Its not like they left the loopholes open on purpose.... no matter how hard they try to close the iphone from unlocking and jailbreaking there will always be someone out there who finds a way. Especially on such a high profile device.... it just attracts the best hackers from around the world.

So what about people like me who are not in a 3G service area. Why should I pay more for my data plan if the speed is the same? I'm still going to get the new iphone just because its the new iphone.... and I'll renew my contract, pay the $18, and spin around 3 times or whatever else they want me to do, but to make me pay more for the same edge service is extortion. Its not my fault that the 3G buildout is taking so long. I'm not in a city, but I'm not in backwoods either.... so either get my 3G up or dont charge me for it. I'll be on the horn with ATT about this one starting July 11th 8am.

I have been using "ABC Amber PDF converter". It will convert a pdf into almost any format with many formatting options to get it just right. $12.95 per user or $39.95 for a site license. I've been using this for years and it works wonders.

Isn't this the same technology the feds used to catch kevin mitnick? Something like catching the gamma rays off the screen to reproduce the image from a range of up to several miles. Amazing what they were able to do even back then.... imagine what other tech they arent passing down to the masses.

I like these articles you've been doing lately. Its true we are in a music revolution, but if you think about it, its really going back to grass roots and getting away from this prepackaged crap that is force fed to us by the record labels. Back to how artists were originally recognized and marketed. And now the record labels are realizing that Cd's arent worth the plastic they're printed on, but they dont want to accept that the actual content is what everybody wants. Raw, unfiltered music....give it to us in high fidelity and with no resrictions and we'll be happy to pay money for it.

But anyway... the point of this post is to point out a new artist that has embraced the online music revolution and has used it to his benefit. The way this kid promoted and marketed himself through online mediums..everyone new him before his hit song took over the country.

I agree, there is no need for this. The "breadcrumbs" feature, or whatever they call it allows you to just click on any parent folder and go right to it.
