Actually GPDRUMMR you are talking about an entirely different phone. The Curve is 83**, you are talking about the duel CDMA/GSM 88**, the Blackberry World Phone. If that had been the case Sprint and Verizon would have had the Curve long ago. There are major differences with the World Phone and the Curve.
Um . . . and no one is saying anything about a price tag of $600? That is $50 more than the 8800 World Phone. AT&T sells the Curve for $350. Even with the $150 I could get back from having my old phone for two years the price is ridiculous. I have stayed with Sprint through all the headaches. For once they get a phone I would like (way after AT&T) and they find away to punch me.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
