the UAW wants alan mullaly to sacrifice as much as them? really?!? because mulally cut his pay 30% at the beginning of this year. so now how much of a paycut is the UAW willing to accept?

ever notice how EVERYONE realizes UAW is the problem with the auto industry. that is, except for the UAW members.
since they owned MV Agusta, why wasn't the MV's mill put into the Buell chassis? that bike might sell - i would certainly look at it.
you're right, it makes no sense to do it in Raleigh and Charlotte. I've been to both places many times and the 3G coverage there is amazing.
They left out the Blue Ridge Parkway, are you f*#king kidding me?!? They almost redeem themselves by including the Cherohala. Almost.
nice bike. too bad nicky can't ride it well.
i really don't believe this good will from being able to stand on their own will help ford in the real world. most people are not as informed as autoblog readers. they'll walk into chrysler and gm dealerships, the salesmen will tell them that the warranties are now backed by the gov't, and the customers will believe every word of it.

obama administration should force the uaw to give ford as good a contract (if not better) than GM got. and until chrysler and gm pay the money back, ford should be the exclusive provider of government fleet vehicles.
hmmm, a government official mandating the purchase of cars made by gov't owned car companies. looks like the march towards communism is almost complete.
If you're riding a motorcycle without a helmet, there's probably nothing inside that head that is worth saving.
why isn't the G8 used in gov't applications (eg. cop car) like the charger? that would certainly boost sales.
oh, and you can probably kiss my circle goodbye as well. i'm sure they'll have to grandfather existing contracts. but given the choice of squashing it in alltel's market, or spreading to the rest of their national market, I bet VZW squashes it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
