It was already on sale on Sunday at one of the local Fry's. I saw maybe two sets go into carts while I was in the game section. The game will do quite well methinks, heck my father was smiling the whole time he played with the demo machine.

It was always my opinion they should've sent only 1 disc away. The last time I ordered I got either five or ten cds. There's only so many hobbyist out there that don't already know how to download an ISO and can burn it to a cd.

That's very true. My family 1500 plan used to have 300-500 minutes remaining by the time the billing cycle ended. Now, I got 1100 left, less than ten days from when my minutes reset. Heck, I tell my mother to go ahead and call her sister in Texas rather than use the house landline, lousy long distance rates,

There is six local Best Buy stores here in Silicon Valley. At 10 AM all stores had them in stock on the release date, but by noon three of the stores were sold out for both models and by 3 PM, when I got off class, all stores were sold out D': I even sold my 2g ipod touch to help finance the purchase and alas I shall be sans media player for a while yet. :'(

or maybe they are that stupid. If the only update is a camera/mic and a price cut to match prices to Zune HD then I don't plan on upgrading to a new ipod. Maybe that Zune would be a better issue. I wonder what the battery life is like on the Zune HD.

I've had this phone for two days and my main problem is the battery life. I would suggest that we be given the ability to turn off the light sensor. The battery life on my iPod Touch was crap when I had the light sensor on, but once I turned it off I saw battery life increase 30-40%, but that was just based on MY usage. It probably doesn't bother people a whole lot, but it does drain the battery and I would appreciate just keeping it at the level I like.

My girlfriend did have one complain with it and that was ALWAYS having to type on the portrait keyboard. I guess she's grown accustomed to the landscape keyboard on her phone, and I can see how always having to slide out the keyboard could be annoying. Although the accelerometer is great in that aspect, much smoother than on my iTouch.

I could love the video recording capabilities, but I'm guessing that's going to get pushed out in a future update anyways so no worries.

I got the waiting list answer on monday afternoon and Tuesday morning they call me telling me they got them in stock ready to pick up. Three of them to boot :D

Don't know where you got that information. It takes about four weeks to get your rebate. I know the last three phones I've bought at Sprint took no longer than four weeks tops, and that was because I would procrastinate a few days before sending out the rebate.

Can't wait for this phone. Although, I do love the Rhodium too. Maybe I should flip a coin.
