Guys, this is nothing new at all. Why is everyone acting like this is some huge deal? It has nothing to do with the Droid. It's the way VZW's been doing things for years.
Yeah, that explains why no one bought the G1, myTouch, or Hero........... wait.
@ bernardino: Why yes, actually, the Droid does have multitouch. Have a nice day :)
Very well said jon.athan.
@ klmsu19: Clearly you completely missed my point. I was responding to Asia who stated that slandering the name of a competing company is not well received by consumers. This is clearly false, based on the massive increase in Macbook sales following the "Get a Mac" campaign. My post has nothing whatsoever to do with the sales of iPods/iPhones, or VZW's decision to turn the iPhone down. Please don't add things to my post that were never said or even implied.
@ Asia: Ever seen the "Get a Mac" campaign? Yeah, that whole slandering thing sure worked well for Apple. I think it's time they got a taste of their own medicine. I don't feel sorry for Apple at all, and I'm a Mac user.
No, the GSM version didn't have a camera flash either.
No, you're not. This thing is kind of gross. Sure, the huge screen is nice, but I'd sacrifice that for something a little (read: a lot) less ugly.
Is it just me or do the widgets take up way too much space? The home screens on this thing look extremely cluttered. It also seems like the entire focus of Blur is social networking, which, while a cool idea, seems like it would lose its novelty really fast. Idk, I'm just not that overly impressed with Blur. I definitely don't think it should be compared to Sense.
Wow, I didn't realize non-physical things could be homosexual. Fascinating...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
