and leopards, panthers, cheetahs, and jaguars!
weird.. it's 420mb on my C2D Mini.
I don't see what you did there.
Yeah, sorry someone posted it as a bulletin on myspace and I had to share the atrocity with someone because it was too much to bare alone.
congrats dave, you idiot, I meant manufacturer of touchpad hardware, obviously Microsoft makes mice and other crap but not laptops with touchpads.
hate to break it to you, but touchpads are made by hardware manufacturers, which Microsoft is not.
first off, I'm not sure what a "boondoggle" is, but Vista isn't as bad a s people make it out to be. I have been using it for over a year now and have had zero problems, I avoided the driver issue by getting a laptop that was sold with Vista, and is certainly powerful enough to run it. Like previously stated it doesn't make people fanboys to be excited by new products, I get excited each time Apple refreshes the Macbook Pro and others, but I'm no mac fanboy. I don't think anyone drools when Ballmer is around except Ballmer himself.
OS X and NeXTSTEP aren't the same, NeXTSTEP, is the basis for OS X but to say Jobs tried to license OS X under a different name is totally stupid because they are not the same OS.
@Eric

"I guess I'll just have to make due with my Fat Tire and real Mexican food."

both of these things are quite familiar to me, am I detecting a fellow southern Californian or at least a southwesterner?
Ford isn't bankrupt, obviously they're having financial difficulties, but of the 3 major American auto companies, they are currently the best off and actually making some profits again.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
