@jcar302
Im in NJ as well and tmobile has a ways to go to catch up to ATT or Sprint. i recently signed up with sprint to get the hero but om my way back to ATT when i can get the hd2 or x10.
The two things stopping me from getting the phone is no portrait support out the box and tmobile 3g is weak in my area.
@samuraisul
Basically you should have done some research and known a little moire about the phone carriers and their bands before spending that much on the phone. people like me when like to have phones that no one else in the USA has love this. the only problem is HTC got smart and stopped supplying us with unlocked NA phones. the last one was the kaiser and i spent $845 on it when it was released.
Ok genius! Anyway this is old news and the sms app is not the only one causing the phone not to sleep.
@ SDAlpha1510 maybe he was referring to video recording being basic.
@ e I agree how can a phone release without video recording or for that matter cut, copy and paste
for voice calls and edge data YES. for 3g data NO
I was thinking the same thing. Just wouldn't have mentioned it because the geeks on this site are just too funny and i knew they would have a comment.
I also would have paid that much if it would have been released back when HTC actually released the phone.
If the sprint version has it i may actually get the TP2 instead of the Hero.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
