I went to the Burlingame, CA Apple Store at 7:30 AM and got in at 1:30. I got the iPhone I wanted and the activation process was pretty smooth.
First haha!
*I was the first one. not 9. my bad...
im from the bay area and 9 was like the first one... wierd
ha for the first time i knew about this before engagdet did! ha! i think i was the first one to download it!
itunes 7.7 is live i just downloaded it from software update... just letting you guys know. and it says it has suppot for 3g iphone, 2.0 software, and remote control from ipod touch/ iphone available as a free download from the app store. just letting u guys know...
I'm leaning towards this and the new iPod Touch rather than a 3G iPhone because I can't stand the virtual keyboard and when you mix an MP3 player and a phone it usually makes both worse (low storage, low battery life, etc.)... I might just go for the 3G iPhone, but if this comes out in June-July then it's this and the updated iPod Touch...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
