Please let me win !!!
Dude i need this case. help me please
This is a good deal, Sprint is giving you something that no one else offers, so let do some math here. Let say you have an iphone with att and an unlimited plan with unlimited txt. Your cost is 150.00 a month for just the phone, that doesn’t have turn by turn gps. Now with this spring plan you get unlimited messaging, minutes, txt, Sprint TV, navi, and a broadband card. Sounds like a good value to me. Let’s look at Verizon. For 150 a month you get unlimited minutes, txt, and PDA data and ...... that’s it. If you want navi its ten dollars extra and a broadband card is 59.99 for 5 GB. Trust me sprint is the best deal in wireless. For the average consumer this is a huge win. I use att my self but I have an employee plan so my pricing is not average.
What Rules Stupid if you use your upgrade you pay 399.99 for the 8 gb and 499.99 for the 16gb. And walmart is the devil
Yes it has 3g for the us, it works on att's 3g network, also this type of phone will never work on sprint they use a CDMA network not a GSM network. So your only phone choices with them are cdma phones. Also the touch dual has a 20 key keypad, similar to the one on the blackberry 8110.
im sorry fanboy,
but,
fact of the matter is, that the htc touch dual supports flash so i dont have to use a special youtube program to view videos. also it supports stereo bluetooth, has a tactile keyboard, gps, 3G, huge developer network of free programs you can use without voiding your warranty, microsoft exchange support, picture mail, video recording, and it is unlocked for worldwide support, as well as windows mobile 6.1 with threaded texting. and it is nearly as thin as the iphone

o by the way there are a huge ammount of accessories that are not proprietary. and also a user removable battery

and best buy service plans on phones are very nice because they cover accidental damage on phones which att will not and no deductable so get your facts straight before you bash best buy (mobile)

im out

I was a manager of a cc for about 2 years. I was forced to let go some of the best employees in my store. They were the best sales people in the store and after they were fired for making to much money, Then had to wait between 3 to 9 months for there severance checks. After the best employees were let go we then were forced to hire what ever we could get and the most money any new employee that wasn’t a senior could make was 10.50 and hour. Oh by the way the needed 5 plus years of retail experience to even make that much money. There next plan was clean all of there store and re merch to make it look better because then people would shop there. Well that didn’t work as you all know. Shortly after all of that I left and went to work for Best Buy. They are the better company in this i hope this deal goes through because I hate both of these companies and for them both to fall at the same time would really make my year.
Thank you all, I Dont care about apple please stop telling me. 3g on a phone wow. I belive that other phone have had that for quite a while. Like HTC, Nokia, moto, even palm really why is this new please tell me cause i dont see it. Does steve job pay you guys for PR or what
Dear Engadget Mobile,
Why are you fan boys why. There are many phones out there that are not iphones that do the same thing. Once a day you post something about the iphone. No one cares !!!!! Apple is a cult, if i want a phone that just works and does everything and iphone does and more i will stick with my blackbery curve "with gps", My n95 "that supports flash out of the box and also gps" or mabey a phone that lets me load programs on to that dont come from apple. Also my blackberry can be unlocked without out paying $100.00. I can also find free programs for it without haveing to pay for them or deal with the cult that is now as apple
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
