Negative Gigabit. Sprint users are not going to leave to pay more money at Verizon for this phone. Most pre owners are pretty happy with Webos so paying more at Verizon is not an incentive to jump ship when we already have a good product at Sprint.
It's really annoying to constantly have to see an overzealous Apple fan troll on every MS product comment board. If yo u hate MS so bad and believe no one can make a product that dares to compete or JOBS forbid be better than an Apple product then don't bother even looking at it. Obviously your like an overly religious nut and nothing can test your faith so be merry and please STFU!
........crickets..........
@ Onesolo For which carrier is that rumored?
Same here, ordered mine yesterday.
I'm not sure how credible the sprint online chat folks are but the lady I spoke to just now said I would not need to switch my plan to simply everything to get the rebate. I read a few posts up above stating something about needing to go simply everything so I was concerned. I'm eligible for a 150 credit but they are going to just give me the 200 instant savings. So basically I get the same deal as someone coming to sprint for the first time. Mail in rebates still suck but what's a guy to do.
I am right there with you. I was all set to buy the diamond and then they come out with this and now I'm like if sprint will get this phone I will wait and hold off. I wish they can state which carriers are getting this phone so I can make up my mind.
Nice post man. It looks pretty responsive compared to some other demos. When he's moving through the phone list and menus I'm not noticing the lag that a few people have been complaining about. Unless that new full screen touch phone announces something soon for sprint I think I'm getting this phone.
@tcc 3

Thank you man I completely agree with you. When I need the precisely copy a text or link the stylus works perfect. While it would be cool to mostly use your finger to navigate, the stylus is not a drawback in my opinion.
I'm not sure if the telesales will offer it but apparently none of the sprint stores in phoenix know that this phone is coming on the 14th. I just left one store and the sales rep thought it was coming at the end of the month. I called another 2 and they echoed the same. Great more waiting...lol stupid carriers with their delays
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
