Absolutely hideous. I understand that it's hand made, so some imperfections are to be expected; but the finish on this piece looks cheap and glitzy. I would chastise anyone who purchased (or even stole!) one!

It will be an upgrade dock. The docks which are mounted on the in-store displays do NOT show this functionality. In fact, they look almost identical to the iPod's dock connectors (except they are a single piece of molded plastic). Expect to spend more on the headset dock.

I couldn't agree with you more. Ignorance/bigotry of previous statements aside, this is yet another problem which capitalism could handle with ease. Allow the free market to decide--that's how the wonderful things such as Skype became so popular. Viva la Capitalism!

James-Absolutely.
To say Motorola's OS is cumbersome and maddening is a ridiculous understatement.

Thin, maybe. But if you follow that link posted by erick, it's freagin' huge.

My guess is that they use the surface which presses against your face as a heatsink--you know, for added comfort.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
