Amazing idea... Living in Canada I'm afraid only the unlocked ones would work for me, but it would be great to see that list of phones expand!!!

Anyone on here use this before? How is it?
Actually, there is a difference between JVM and core apps. Java apps take much longer to load and run a little slower than apps written specifically for Symbian (i.e. .sys and .sysx)

I don't need the scientific calc, so I still use Calcium, although this new app IS a step in the right direction.
Honestly, this could not have come soon enough. Too bad there's a long waiting period until we see some devices and new networks popping out. Hopefully this will give the four big providers a run for their money.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
