Seth's article is pretty dead-on. Besides being obnoxious, the claims are just outrageous. It'll only work on the wanna-be-cool-ignorant. The rest of us will just laugh at Hodgman.
Those conference calls can certainly be a waste of time, but I'd rather have a 1-2 minute phone call than a 15 minute back and forth IM.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue.
